Founded in 2003, Momentum is a female-led and operated organisation and is very aware of the multitude of barriers faced by female entrepreneurs – lack of technical expertise, lack of role models, low self-confidence, the challenge of attracting investment and backing from banking institutions, low levels of risk-taking are all debilitating factors which affect women. Momentum has grown rapidly in size and now employs 24 staff and subcontractors.
