Our vibrant WeRin Community of Practice (CoP) invites YOU to become part of our dynamic and thriving network. Our mission is to foster an environment where individuals like YOU can openly exchange their knowledge, skills, mindsets, research and educational activities related to the themes of gender and inclusivity in entrepreneurship with other like-minded people.

Our Purpose

We are driven by a compelling purpose: to create a resilient social network of individuals who are passionate about engaging in community activities. Our goal is to build strong relationships within the community and become a collective voice that stands against challenges and obstacles hindering a positive entrepreneurial environment. Our ultimate mission is to raise awareness about the barriers faced by all types of entrepreneurs and to champion inclusive and diverse entrepreneurship, both within Higher Education Institutions (HEI) and across society.

Core Principles guiding the Community of Practice

The WeRin CoP will continue to follow the six core WeRin Principles designed during the project lifespan but with a degree of flexibility to critically revise them and include others if applicable in order to strengthen our community development.

  • The WeRin CoP highlights the core value which is to promote a diverse and inclusive entrepreneurship education to regional ecosystems both in practice and in community development
  • The WeRin CoP supports members to inspire and expose students and other learners to relatable role models in their pathway through entrepreneurial education
  • The WeRin CoP raises awareness of challenges and obstacles in the entrepreneurship world and learns from the successes and failures of different types of entrepreneurs
  • The WeRin CoP involves all primary stakeholders to take joint actions in establishing a positive environment for female entrepreneurs
  • The WeRin CoP introduces broader value, mission and social responsibility for entrepreneurship to a wider society
  • The WeRin CoP creates a sustainable network to question the structures within the ecosystem and to promote gradual structural changes
